BLOOD GROUPING Blood types are divided according to the presence or absence of antibodies on the surface of red blood cells. Blood types are inherited from parents to children. The following is an explanation of the types of blood types in detail.
The ABO system, which contains the most common blood types with the blood type symbol in English:
Blood type A: It has antigens in red blood cells for blood type A with antibodies for blood type B in the plasma.
Blood type B: It has antigens in red blood cells for blood type B with antibodies for blood type A in the plasma.
Blood type AB: It has antigens in red blood cells for both A and B, but no antibodies.
Blood type O: It has no antigens, but it has both antibodies for blood type A and B in the plasma.
